WSOC: 2019 Recruiting Class Feature; A conversation with Coach Renaud.

MARCY, N.Y. – Coach Renaud, Coach Elderbroom, Coach Streifert and Volunteer Coach Cornmire are pleased to announce the incoming recruiting class for the 2019 women’s soccer season. 

Coach Renaud compares this class to the class of 2010, which went undefeated in the NEAC conference play as freshmen ultimately winning the regular season championship. Below is a statement from Coach Tyler Renaud about the state of the team.

WLAX: Wildcats Advance to the NEAC Championship With Semifinal Win Over Keuka.

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women’s lacrosse team is heading to the NEAC Championship on Sunday after earning a 21-16 win over Keuka College in the NEAC Semifinals. The Wildcats never trailed in the game and grew their lead to as many as eight goals. The Wildcats will face the Morrisville Mustangs for the title on Sunday, May 5th at 1:00 PM. The Mustangs advanced to the NEAC final in a blowout win over Cazenovia on Saturday.

BASE: Wildcats to Play at Hamilton College on Saturday and Delutis Field on Sunday.

MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Athletics Department has announced that the baseball games against Penn College this weekend have been changed to a home game for the Wildcats. The games will be played at Hamilton College on Saturday and at Delutis Field in Rome on Sunday. Saturday’s first game of the doubleheader will start at 12:00 PM. Sunday’s single game will be at 12:00 PM at Delutis field at Rome.

MLAX: Nine Wildcats Earn NEAC All-Conference Honors.

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced the 2019 NEAC All-Conference Teams for men’s lacrosse as voted on by the Head Coaches of the NEAC. The SUNY  Poly Wildcats were well represented on the All-Conference teams with a conference-high nine players receiving honors.

WLAX: Five Wildcats Named NEAC All-Conference; Dayter Named NEAC Rookie of the Year.

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced the 2019 NEAC All-Conference Teams for women’s lacrosse as voted on by the Head Coaches of the NEAC. The SUNY  Poly Wildcats were well represented with Samantha Dayter (Cohoes, N.Y.) named the NEAC Rookie of the Year and five players named to All-Conference teams.

MLAX: SUNY Poly Advances to First NEAC Championship in Program History.

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team is Championship bound for the first time in program history. The Wildcats advanced in a thrilling 13-12 win at Keuka College. The Wildcats took a first-half lead but the Wolves did not give in, tying the game late in the third quarter. The Wildcat defense held strong in the fourth, allowing just one goal. The Wildcats will play the #1 seed Morrisville State Mustangs in the NEAC Championship game on Saturday, May 4th at 5:00 PM.

WLAX: Wildcats Advance to the NEAC Semifinal With a 19-12 Win Over Medaille

MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women’s lacrosse team advanced to the NEAC Semifinal round on Tuesday with a 19-12 win over the Medaille College Mavericks in the NEAC Quarterfinal. The Wildcats are now 11-6 this season. The NEAC Final Four will feature #1 Morrisville, #2 Keuka College, #3 SUNY Poly, and #4 Cazenovia. The Wildcats will take on Keuka in the first round on Saturday at Morrisville State. The game was historically significant for the Wildcats as it saw Kayla Prosinski (Endwell, N.Y.) become the first Wildcat to ever score 100 goals in a single season.

MLAX: Wildcats Wrap-up Regular Season With Senior Day Win Over Medaille.

MARCY, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team won their final North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) regular season game against Medaille on Saturday. The Wildcats built up a 9-2 lead in the first half and never looked back. They would go on to outscore the Mavericks 4-3 in the second half. Before the game, the Wildcats celebrated Senior Day for their seven seniors. This year’s seniors included Chase LaCava (Jamesville, N.Y.), Parker Naab (Rochester, N.Y.), Daniel Rivie (Ossining, N.Y.), Charles Rosaschi (Highland Mills, N.Y.), Ryan Daucher (Geneva, N.Y.), and Jonathan Sobolewski (Staten Island, N.Y.). All were in the starting lineup for the Wildcats.
