Herkimer dominates Tompkins-Cortland in 13-3 road win

Dryden, NY - The Herkimer Generals Men's Lacrosse team snapped a 3 game losing streak in an emphatic way, going on the road and beating Tompkins-Cortland CC in a 13-3 victory on Saturday afternoon in Dryden, NY. With the victory, Herkimer reaches the .500 mark on the season, evening their record at 3-3.

The Generals shot out to a 4-0 lead at the end of the first period and never looked back in the convincing win. Zach St. Hilaire (Brasher Falls, NY) continued his strong season by scoring 4 goals on the afternoon. Jace Babka (Draper, UT) had 3 goals and 2 assists while Ethan Babowicz (Marcy, NY) added 3 goals as well. Dylan Utter (Forsyth, GA) chipped in with 2 goals and Spencer Parks (Niskayuna, NY) tallied one goal for Herkimer's total of 13. Jack Babka (Draper, UT) turned in a great performance in goal, making 20 saves on 23 shots by the Panthers. 

Herkimer now enjoys a week off before returning to Wehrum Stadium for a matchup with the # 7 Genesee Community College Cougars on Saturday afternoon, April 20. Game time is slated for 1:00 PM and will be the final regular season home game for the Generals in 2019.
